Product Image Requirements

Technical Specifications

Products submitted/uploaded to StoresSA must have the following specifications:

• Format : JPEG (.jpeg/.jpg), GIF (.gif) and PNG (.png)
• Dimensions: 580×786
• File names: Must relate to the product name
• Size: Must be less then 1mb. The following links will held in reducing the size of the image:
  • Tiny PNG – Tiny PNG  has a free version to help reduce up to 20 images at a time.
  • Compress JPEG – Compress JPEG is free. It will help reduce any number of images at a time.

Image Standards

We recommend following and maintaining the following image standards:

• Profession Photography – We highly recommend using a high end photography images. Quality images builds confidence and trust from consumers. Drawings and illustrations are not allowed.
• Images must be focused. Image must be focused to the item being sold only.
• Professionally lit. Images must be professionally lit with realistic colors.
• Background must be white, grey, or light brown.

Image View

• Images must pertain to the item being sold.
• Environmental backgrounds are not allowed unless its lifestyle images.
• Pornographic and offensive material are not allowed.
